25/784 Chair’s remarks.
Cllr CS welcomed everyone
25/785 Apologies for absence and reasons given.
Cllr EG apologised that she would be late due to another meeting. It was resolved to accept the apology.
25/786 Co-option of Councillor
It was resolved to co-opt Emily Herbert as Parish Councillor; she completed her declaration of acceptance form.
Action: Clerk to notify Boston Borough Council, set up an email address and update the website
25/787 To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.
25/788 Draft minutes of the meeting held on 14-07-25 to be confirmed and signed as minutes.
It was resolved to accept the above notes as minutes.They were confirmed and signed by the Chair.
25/789 Financial matters: Accounts for payment and budget figures, including report, up to 05.09.25.

In addition, the clerk reported that she has received an additional invoice from Malc Firth for grass cutting in August 25 for 73.01 including VAT
The budget to date was reviewed with income at 48% and expenditure of 52% to date, with all areas still under budget except Data protection as the increase came through after the budget was set.
Cllr EG checked and confirmed the bank reconcilliation at the end of the meeting
The bank balances as follows:
Lloyds Current Account £274.20 Lloyds Deposit Account £8,960.37
It was resolved to accept the accounts for payment including the additional Invoice for Malc Firth.
Action: Clerk to make outstanding payments.
25/790 Planning:
B/25/0330 – Siting of single storey static mobile home to be used as short-term holiday accommodation at Claydyke Farm, Martin Cross Drove
Concerns were raised with regards to this being outside of the building belt and whether siting one mobile home would ultimately lead to further mobile homes.Concerns were also raised as to how the short term letting would be monitored and that this would not ultimately become a permanent residence.
B/25/0341 - Installation of 4no biomass boilers/ stoves, 2no containers and 1no water tank at Waterside Farm, Claydyke Bank,
No comments or concerns
Cllr EG joined the meeting during the planning item.

The letter of complaint received regarding the cones along the side of Claydyke Bank was discussed and it was resolved that this would be reported to Lincolnshire County Council on fix my street

25/793 Appointment of Highways Officer
It was resolved that as things have changed regarding reporting of highways issues with all issues now reported on Fix my Street that rather than having a Highways Officer. It was resolved that all Councillors would report issues identified on fix my street and copy in the Clerk who will then keep a record of recorded incidents
Action: Clerk to set up a Highways log
25/794 Remembrance
Cllr RB agreed to arrange the Remembrance service this year and speak to the School. She confirmed an additional net has been purchased to add the poppies to at a cost of £25.89 and it was resolved that this would be reimbursed. The clerk handed over the poppy wreath
Action:. Cllr RB to liaise with the school with regards to the remembrance service
23/795 Matters Arising
Cllr P Lock discussed the Greater Lincolnshire consultation and encouraged the councillors and residents to complete the survey with regards to what they want from this.
Emergency planning was discussed, and the council was asked if the clerk would be willing to attend a session arranged for local clerks as to how to go about it. The Clerk confirmed that she has been looking at this, and the session would be useful
Cllr CS reported that the bench from the church yard has been removed for repair by Steve that currently cuts the grass.
Cllr JW discussed the application for a grant for repairs to the wet pour around the play equipment. It was resolved that the Clerk will submit an application for this.
Action:. Clerk to advertise the consultation and submit the application for funding for the play area repairs
