Minutes of the meeting of Amber Hill Parish Council held on 18th January 2021

20/042 Chairman’s remarks.
Cllr CS mentioned concerns being raised in the village around the speed of vehicles in the village relating to the School, which involves both Staff and Taxi drivers. Cllr MB highlighted that the Police were currently running a campaign around this which was advertised in their latest newsletter. It was resolved that the clerk would contact PC Williams and to write to both the School and Lincs County Councils school department that issue the taxi contracts.
20/043 Apologies for absence and reasons given.
Cllr NH gave apologies. It was resolved to accept the apologies.
20/044 To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.

20/045 Police report.
Please accept apologies from police, we will not be able to attend the meeting tonight.
There have been numerous reports of hare coursing within the parish over the last two months.
Two males were arrested within the parish at the end of November for hare coursing/fail to stop for police.
Action: None
20/046 Draft minutes of the meeting held on 16-11-20 to be confirmed and signed as minutes.
It was resolved to accept the above notes as minutes.These were confirmed and it was agreed the clerk would send them to Cllr RH for electronic signing.
Action: Clerk to send minutes for signing.

20/051 Meeting dates for 2021 -2022
The clerk presented the proposed meeting dates for next financial year and it was resolved to agree these.

20/052 Location and installation of noticeboard
Following information received from Lincs County Council and the need for a permit for excavation which would cost £330 it was agreed that the new noticeboard would be placed outside the School in place of the old one.
It was resolved that when the weather is better a request for volunteers to assist in placing it would be made.
